1750 St. Charles Condominiums in New Orleans
The aesthetic inspiration on St. Charles is abundant. From the condominiums one has convenient access to the street car and a gorgeous view of the live oaks, as well as the Victorian homes for which Garden District is famous.
1750 St. Charles was built in 1980 as apartments and converted to condominiums in 2005. The fine details, such as 9 foot ceilings, rooftop terrace, and center courtyard, as well as the recent updates and renovations that have been done to the original units, truly make this a classy and desirable address.
These condominiums are conveniently located near both Tulane and Loyola Universities. The streetcar gives one easy access to Audubon Park and Carollton on one side, and the French Quarter and Central Business District on the other. History, beauty, and opportunity abound from this desirable address.
One of the greatest aspects of the Garden District, and in particular St. Charles Ave., is the celebrations that occur here during Mardi Gras Season. Endymion and Tuchs, two parades that travel down St. Charles, offer amazing views and throws. The crowds are thick, with parade goers tailgating and bringing couches and easy chairs out to the parade route for a good time. At 1750 St. Charles, one may view and participate in the events from one’s doorstep. The next morning one will walk outside and see oak trees laden with beads and be reminded of the previous night’s carnival.
