Gretna Homes for sale

The city of Gretna, located on the west bank of New Orleans in Jefferson Parish, is a pearl among the communities that surround the city. Gretna was founded in 1836 and as the Jefferson Parish seat is the location of the Courthouse and municipal offices.  The Gretna Ferry, which connects the community to the Central Business District and French Quarter, leaves Gretna close to anywhere one might wish to go.

Gretna Real Estate

Gretna belongs to the Jefferson Parish School System, and among the schools residents attend are Gretna No. 2 Academy for Advanced Studies, Thomas Jefferson Senior High School, and Paul J.
